The goal of JREDS's outreach program is to involve the public in marine life and to show them what lies beneath the surface of our waters. JREDS demonstrates conservation values and relates these values with people’s daily lives in an interactive participatory approach through its public exhibits and museum displays.

Shell Museum / Aqaba Marine Park Visitor Center
HRH Princess Wejdan Ali generously donated her personal international collection of rare shells. Those shells have been classified and displayed at the Marine Park Visitor Center for the public to see and be involved in the underwater life. An additional awareness tool (a video display) is available to explain more about the shells and their importance to our marine heritage.

Children's Educational Center / Aqaba Marine Park Visitor Center
JREDS believes in the role of children and youth in protecting the marine environment. This center was designed to include interactive tools and games that involve the children in the various activities of protecting marine life. In addition, the center includes hands-on tools for children to reinforce their present and future role in sustaining the environment.

Underwater Photography Exhibition
As part of our effort to promote the marine environment to the people of Jordan and the region, JREDS coordinates and co-sponsors under-water photography exhibitions. Exhibits help us to raise the awareness on the importance of the marine environment, and they also help us fundraise for our organization.

JREDS- SAC
