To relieve the Chief Accountant and Senior Accountant of certain responsibilities that will allow them to spend a greater portion of their time on Financial Statement preparation and analysis, Budget and Variance issues, and Forecasting.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain the Fixed Asset and associated depreciation schedules on the Wave ERP System; provide monthly detail to the Senior Accountant for General Journal entries; insure proper recording of new purchases and disposals.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain Purchase Order Processing system.<\/li>\n<li>Manage employee \/ Company credit card applications and charges.<\/li>\n<li>Process Accounts Payable paperwork at completion of the check run.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare mailings and priority shipments for the Finance\/Accounting Department.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare labels and maintain files as needed within the department.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare correspondence as needed within the department.<\/li>\n<li>Assist Senior Accountant with payroll system and payroll related items.<\/li>\n<li>Manage petty cash account.<\/li>\n<li>Assist the Chief Accountant in tracking and maintaining company insurance policies (except Employee Benefits, which are maintained by the HR Department).<\/li>\n<li>Assist the Chief Accountant with facility support and security issues.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2><strong>Required Skills\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Ethical, responsible, and able to handle confidential financial information.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication and time management abilities.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS, GAAP) and tax regulations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h2><strong>Qualifications and Experience:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Get an IT job and make your IT career in ITG.
