The role is responsible for driving high-quality traffic, managing ad spend efficiently, and maximizing ROI across all search and performance channels.
As search continues to evolve beyond traditional engines, this role also covers Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), ensuring the company's content is structured, cited, and recommended across AI-powered search and answer platforms.
Responsibilities:

• Conduct continuous keyword research and competitive analysis to identify new growth opportunities in both paid and organic landscapes.
• Paid Search and Performance: Plan, launch, and optimize Google Ads Search, Display, and Video campaigns to meet specific acquisition targets.
• Analyze campaign metrics and website data to improve click-through rates (CTR), lower cost-per-acquisition (CPA), and boost conversions.
• Answer Engine Optimization (AEO): Structure content with clear direct-answer blocks, schema markup, and entity clarity so it can be extracted and surfaced in featured snippets, knowledge panels, Google AI Overviews, and voice assistant results.
• Generative Engine Optimization (GEO): Develop and execute strategies to increase the brand's likelihood of being cited, summarized, and recommended by generative AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Copilot.
• Partner with content and design teams to build conversational, semantically rich, and machine-readable content (FAQs, structured data, clear entity signals) that aligns with how LLMs index and surface information.
• Monitoring and Reporting: Track citation frequency and share-of-voice in AI-generated answers using tools such as Otterly.ai or AIclicks, and report on performance alongside traditional SEO and paid metrics.
Stay current on the evolving AI search landscape (AI Overviews, ChatGPT Search, Perplexity, Copilot, Claude) and adapt technical and content strategy as platforms and ranking factors change.

Required Skills:
• Ability to interpret complex data from Google Analytics to drive performance decisions.
• Working knowledge of AEO and GEO principles, including how LLMs and answer engines index, cite, and summarize web content.
• Familiarity with schema markup and structured data implementation to support AI and answer-engine extraction.
• Exposure to AI-visibility or citation-tracking tools (e.g., Otterly.ai, AIclicks) is a plus.
• Organic and paid search performance reports (CTR, CPA, conversions).
• SEO technical audits and on-page/off-page optimization records.
• AEO/GEO-structured content and schema markup implementations.
• AI citation and share-of-voice tracking reports.
• Keyword research and competitive analysis summaries.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelors’ degree in Marketing, or any related field.
• Proven track record in managing Google Ads accounts and achieving measurable growth.
Deep understanding of SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Search Console).
