Integrated Technology Group (ITG) participated in the Jordan–Syria Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Forum, held in Damascus, as part of a joint initiative organized by Jordan’s Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship (MoDEE), the Information and Communications Technology Association of Jordan (int@j), and the Syrian Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MoCT).
The forum brought together a wide range of representatives from the ICT and technology sectors in both countries and aimed to strengthen dialogue, cooperation, and knowledge exchange in the fields of digital transformation and technology development.
Strengthening Regional Digital Cooperation
ITG’s participation came as part of the official Jordanian delegation, which included nearly 80 companies from the technology and communications sector. The company reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Jordan’s official efforts to enhance economic and digital cooperation with Syria, building on longstanding historical ties and shared regional interests.
ITG emphasized the importance of such forums in laying the groundwork for sustainable digital partnerships, particularly at a time when global economies are rapidly shifting toward digital and knowledge-based models.
Creating Opportunities for Technology Partnerships
The company highlighted the role of the forum in opening new opportunities for Jordanian technology companies to explore emerging markets, exchange expertise, and develop joint projects with Syrian counterparts. These engagements are especially important given the strong capabilities, solutions, and digital products developed by Jordanian companies, many of which are currently deployed in more than 60 markets worldwide.
ITG also noted the growing need within the Syrian ICT sector to adopt modern digital concepts that have evolved globally in recent years, including cybersecurity, data protection, and digital transformation systems.
A Shared Vision for a Digital Future
Commenting on the participation, Zaid Tahabsem, Chief Business Development Officer at ITG, stated that the company’s presence at the forum reflects its focus on strengthening technical collaboration between Jordan and Syria, supporting digital transformation pathways, and exploring new opportunities in technology and digital education.
He added that the forum serves as a valuable platform for direct engagement between decision-makers and industry leaders, offering a clearer understanding of the ICT, digital economy, and entrepreneurship landscape in both countries. This engagement, he noted, helps pave the way for practical, long-term partnerships between Jordanian and Syrian companies.
