Integrated Technology Group Emphasizes at Tawasul Forum 2026: Digital Transformation Begins with Youth and Is Measured by Systems

Amman, Jordan

The fourth edition of Tawasul Forum 2026 kicked off today, Saturday, at the King Hussein bin Talal Convention Centre in the Dead Sea, under the patronage of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II. Integrated Technology Group (ITG) is participating in the forum as part of Jordan’s technology sector, which is currently facing rapid structural transformations.

Tawasul Forum, in its fourth edition, discusses vital issues, foremost among them emerging technology sectors, artificial intelligence applications, and ways to enhance national productivity in a world where the shape of institutions, societies, and daily life is being redefined.

This discussion directly reflects the reality of the sector in which Integrated Technology Group (ITG) has been operating for more than three decades. Founded in 1989 and operating across 42 countries, ITG views Tawasul Forum as a national platform that reflects the real challenges facing Jordanian technology institutions today: qualified youth seeking clear pathways, and a technology sector that possesses strong capabilities but needs real systems capable of absorbing and employing them.

The agenda of this year’s edition focuses on discussing the opportunities of tomorrow as the outcome of interconnected systems and policies working together simultaneously, using dialogue, coordination, and integrated efforts as a foundation for reshaping reality.

In this context, Integrated Technology Group (ITG) emphasizes that digital systems serving education, government, and institutions are not separate from youth pathways. Rather, they form the foundation that determines whether tomorrow’s opportunities can be realized or remain limited to dialogue. Ajyal, the national platform built on EduWave®, serves 1.9 million users across more than 4,000 schools in Jordan. It is not merely an education system, but a national infrastructure that shapes how the next generation learns and the tools with which they enter the labor market.

The Group noted that discussions around digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and youth opportunities cannot produce real impact unless they are linked to clear decisions in digital infrastructure. Jordan has the will and the human talent. What it needs are systems designed to operate at national scale, and technology institutions capable of taking responsibility for operating them over the long term.

Tawasul Forum aims to strengthen constructive dialogue and expand participation in discussions related to national affairs by bringing together youth, decision-makers, sector leaders, experts, and influential institutions in open discussions on national priorities and pathways for progress.

Through its presence in this national platform, Integrated Technology Group (ITG) is not presenting a product, but contributing to a shared responsibility: building a Jordanian digital ecosystem that truly empowers youth, not only in discourse, but in practice.

Integrated Technology Group (ITG) Announces Release 8.4 of the National “Ajyal” Platform Built on EduWave® Technology

Amman, Jordan

Integrated Technology Group (ITG), in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, has announced the launch of Version 8.4 of the national “Ajyal” platform, built on EduWave® technology, marking another milestone in Jordan’s ongoing digital transformation journey in education.

The new release introduces a wide range of enhancements and updates aimed at improving educational and administrative efficiency, enhancing user experience, and strengthening data-driven decision-making across the Ministry, directorates, and schools.

Among the key updates is the advancement of the BTEC vocational education system through the introduction of new roles and permissions, improved management of programs, units, and reporting capabilities, as well as advanced reporting tools for stakeholders across multiple administrative levels.

The release also includes major enhancements to Grade 9 and Grade 11 student stream classification processes, enabling more structured academic and vocational pathway selection, electronic parent approvals, SMS notifications, and improved application tracking and management.

As part of ongoing efforts to support inclusivity and student services, the platform now includes enhanced student profile capabilities related to students with disabilities, contributing to improved data accuracy and more effective educational support services.

Additionally, Version 8.4 introduces significant upgrades to the school trips and visits management system by streamlining application, approval, and monitoring procedures across schools, directorates, and the Ministry, while enhancing governance and operational oversight.

Further improvements were introduced across school libraries, non-formal education, laboratories, permissions management, and reporting systems, alongside a range of technical optimizations designed to enhance platform performance and data quality.

Built on EduWave® technology, the Ajyal platform continues to serve as a national enabler for educational digital transformation in Jordan by connecting thousands of schools through a unified platform that supports learning, administration, and data-driven policymaking.

ITG reaffirms its commitment to delivering advanced national educational technology solutions that support Jordan’s vision for a modern, sustainable, and digitally empowered education ecosystem.

Arab Governments Are Digitising Education. The Question Is Whether They Are Doing It Right.

Education budgets across the Arab world are growing. Digital adoption, accelerated by pandemic-era necessity, has not reversed. If anything, governments in Jordan, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Egypt are doubling down on technology as a structural pillar of educational reform. The question that regional education ministers have not fully answered is a simpler one: what does it mean to actually succeed?

The distinction matters because the metrics most commonly used to measure EdTech adoption platform subscriptions, device distribution, and connectivity rates tell almost nothing about whether learning is improving. A student with a tablet in a classroom connected to three disconnected platforms is not receiving a better education. They are receiving a more complicated one.

Jordan offers one of the more instructive examples in the region. The country made a deliberate decision more than a decade ago to build a national education operating system rather than layer software onto an existing analogue infrastructure. The result is Ajyal, a national Education Management Information System built on EduWave® by Integrated Technology Group, which today connects more than 4,000 schools and serves upward of 1.9 million users on a single integrated platform hosted on Jordan's Government Private Cloud.

What Ajyal demonstrates is not that technology solves education. It demonstrates that when technology is treated as infrastructure rather than a tool, the outcomes change. Teachers are not logging into three different systems. Parents can see their child's grades, attendance, and assignments in one place. Ministry officials can pull national-level data in real time.

The gap between digitising education and transforming it is where most of the region currently sits. The UAE has made artificial intelligence a mandatory subject across all public schools. Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 is embedding AI literacy into national teacher training. These are serious commitments. The critical question is whether the underlying platforms can support them. National AI education initiatives delivered through fragmented vendor platforms will underperform.

The lesson from systems like Ajyal is straightforward. National-scale education transformation requires national-scale thinking. Measure success not by deployment rates but by what changes for students and teachers in practice.

ITG Brings Digital Learning to Life Through Ajyal LMS School Visits

As part of its ongoing commitment to advancing digital education in Jordan, Integrated Technology Group (ITG) continues to support the national rollout of the Ajyal platfor, an initiative built on EduWave® that is reshaping how students and teachers engage with learning.

Recently, ITG had the opportunity to visit Al-Farouq Secondary School for Girls in Shafa Badran, one of the first 100 schools selected for the Learning Management System (LMS) rollout under Ajyal.

During the visit, ITG representatives engaged directly with teachers and students, guiding them through their classes and courses on the platform. The sessions focused on hands-on interaction, allowing participants to navigate the system, access learning materials, and complete assignments in real time.

What stood out most was the immediate adoption of the platform.

Students from Grade 7 and Grade 11 logged into the system, completed assignments during the session, and interacted with the LMS seamlessly. The classrooms reflected a strong sense of engagement, with both students and teachers expressing genuine enthusiasm toward the experience.

The intuitive design of the platform played a key role in this rapid adoption, enabling users to quickly understand and benefit from its features without complexity.

Beyond the technical implementation, the visit highlighted something more important: the human impact of digital transformation.

Teachers expressed appreciation for the platform’s ability to support their teaching process, while students demonstrated confidence in navigating a modern learning environment.

These field visits reinforce ITG’s approach to digital transformation, not only deploying systems, but ensuring real adoption, usability, and impact on the ground.

Through initiatives like Ajyal, ITG continues to play a key role in enabling a more connected, accessible, and future-ready education ecosystem in Jordan.
