The German Jordanian University (GJU) and Integrated Technology Group (ITG) signed today a cooperation agreement for implementing a comprehensive educational and technology solution.

Through this agreement, ITG in cooperation with GJU, will develop   and deploy an   integrated e-learning and  ERP solution through ITG’s e-Learning Platform -EduWave™, and its Enterprise Resource Planning Solution -WaveERP™, that will serve to automate the GJU academic and administrative processes and operations.

Online Student Registration at the University of Nizwa Completed Successfully through EduWave™

Students at the University of Nizwa, Oman successfully complete their second semester registration online for the academic year 2005/2006 using the comprehensive e-Learning Platform EduWave™ deployed at the University.

The University announced yesterday that its student registration activities for the second semester -academic year 2005/2006 have been successfully completed. ITG, IBM Launch Region’s First e-Learning Software on Linux

ITG’s EduWave, the Jordanian e-learning platform, has been ported to run on the open source Linux operating system using IBM’s WebSphere and DB2 in a joint effort between ITG and IBM.

 IBM and Integrated Technology Group (ITG), a leading Jordanian software house, have announced today the completion of a major project where they have ported an open standards version of ITG’s EduWave e-learning platform to run on the Linux operating system. As a result of this joint effort, IBM will support EduWave as part of its open source e-learning solution platform for Middle East markets. EduWave, the comprehensive K-12 e-learning platform in Jordanian schools, has been deployed in over 3,000 schools in Jordan and has also been deployed in a number of school districts in the US state of New Jersey.
