Integrated Technology Group (ITG) Emphasizes the Importance of Lifelong Learning to Keep Pace with Changes in the Labor Market

Amman – December 2025 – Integrated Technology Group (ITG) recently emphasized the importance of empowering young people and preparing them for both local and global labor markets by enhancing their digital and life skills. The Group highlighted that skills development is a vital investment in the future and a fundamental complement to university degrees in improving employment opportunities across various economic sectors.

ITG called on youth to focus on the concept of lifelong learning by continuously acquiring knowledge and developing technical and life skills to keep up with the ongoing changes in the labor market. These changes are increasingly shaped by future technologies, most notably artificial intelligence, particularly in a country where the unemployment rate is estimated at around 21.4%.

This came on the sidelines of ITG’s recent participation in the “Future Pathways” event, organized by the Jordan Youth Innovation Forum, which celebrated a number of youth-led projects supported through grants provided under the Youth, Technology, and Jobs Project and the DigiSkills Association. The event brought together youth, companies, funders, and decision-makers in interactive spaces that included reception, guidance, career empowerment, professional networking, and panel discussions.

During the forum, ITG took part in career empowerment sessions through a dedicated station for reviewing and enhancing résumés. Human Resources Specialists from the Group reviewed participants’ CVs and refined them to align with job market standards, increasing their chances of acceptance when applying for employment. This participation reflects ITG’s commitment to supporting youth and equipping them for both the Jordanian and global labor markets.

Zaid Risheq, Learning and Development Director at ITG, stated that investing in lifelong learning is no longer an option but a necessity to keep pace with the rapid transformations in the labor market. He emphasized that capacity building and skills development are the foundation for empowering individuals and organizations to achieve sustainable growth and enhance their readiness for the future in a world driven by knowledge and technology.

Risheq added that continuous education is the most effective way to keep up with the technological, professional, and knowledge revolutions that are increasingly and rapidly reshaping the nature and concept of jobs and professions, especially in recent times.

On the same note, Suhail Darwazeh, Public Relations and Communications Officer at ITG, affirmed that the Group’s presence at such events is a core part of its ongoing commitment to youth. As a leading technology company, ITG believes in empowering the next generation, supporting dialogue, transferring knowledge, and actively contributing to building a future rooted in innovation and technology.

The Future Pathways event aligns with Jordan’s Economic Modernization Vision, which places youth empowerment and the development of digital skills at the heart of its priorities.
