Amman — Jordan
As part of its commitment to knowledge-sharing and youth engagement, Integrated Technology Group (ITG) participated in a leadership dialogue hosted by Hussein Technical University (HTU) under the title “A Dialogue with a Leader.”
The session featured ITG’s Chief Executive Officer, Walid Tahabsem, as a panelist responding to students’ questions, and was hosted by Dr. Yazan Hatamleh.
During the discussion, Tahabsem reflected on ITG’s journey from Jordan to global markets, emphasizing that competitive, world-class companies can be built locally through original thinking, fast execution, and long-term strategic patience. He highlighted that professional success, whether in education, employment, or entrepreneurship requires resilience, continuous effort, and adaptability.
He noted that academic degrees alone are not sufficient for career success, stressing the importance of lifelong learning, practical experience, and strong digital and life skills aligned with market needs.
On entrepreneurship, Tahabsem described it as a mindset rather than a formula, driven by curiosity, perseverance, and the courage to challenge convention. He also underlined the importance of supportive ecosystems in enabling sustainable innovation and growth.
Reflecting on ITG’s founding in 1989, Tahabsem explained that the company was built with a clear vision to create Arab intellectual property and deliver impactful technology solutions. Today, ITG operates across 43 markets, supported by continuous investment in research and development.
The session concluded with an interactive Q&A, during which Tahabsem encouraged students to move beyond technology consumption toward creation, and to approach leadership with purpose, responsibility, and a focus on long-term impact.
