ITG PARTICIPATION IN MENA ICT FORUM 2018

For the third time in a row, with a huge presence and regional attention by the ICT industry leaders; Integrated Technology Group (ITG) has participated in the two-day MENA ICT Forum 2018; a premier ICT industry event for the Middle East and North Africa region, that is held biennially in Jordan under the patronage of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein, where this year’s theme was “The New IT; Innovative Technology”.

The MENA ICT Forum 2018 organized by The Information and Communications Technology Association of Jordan (int@j) brought together companies, leaders, and high-level decision-makers from the ICT sector, as well as entrepreneurs, government officials, and many professionals from across MENA region all in one place.

ITG being one of the leading companies in the ICT sector participated in this Forum, having the chance to meet with many high-level professionals from various industries and different countries of the MENA region. MENA ICT Forum was a perfect setting to acquire new sights and visions on the current and futuristic technologies and how it’s affecting the way of living.

H.E. Eng. Mothanna Gharaibeh, the Minister of Information and Communications Technology on behalf of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein had opened the Forum with a rich speech; drawing the audience’s attention to this Forum’s vitality.

The Forum witnessed diverse panel discussion topics regarding technology’s effect on the global economy and our everyday life. The topics varied from “FinTech” and how IT firms should come up with solutions that are user friendly and increase efficiency, “Digital Commerce and Consumerism” and how business models are rapidly changing due to new innovative technologies, “Arabic Content for the Arab Nation” and the urgent need to produce more Arabic content for the growing number of Arabic users on the internet, and many more attention-grabbing topics such as “Virtual and Augmented Reality”, “Cyber Security”, “Smart Cities”, and “Artificial Intelligence”.

The Forum closing session was titled “The Meeting of the Titans” and was held between the biggest Telecommunication operators in Jordan (Umniah, Zain, & Orange) CEOs with the presence of Dr. Ghazi al Jobor – Telecommunication Regulatory Commission CEO; they discussed all the aspects of mobile services in Jordan and the growing rate of Internet usage and how it affects the Jordanian economy among other aspects, they also discussed the intensive support offered by these operators to startup companies and entrepreneurs.

MENA ICT Forum 2018 presented a delightful experience and a refreshing insight into the non-stop innovation of new technologies.

EID AL ADHA WITH ITG

Integrated Technology Group (ITG) celebrated the “Eid Al Adha” with its employees through a special gathering full of fun, coffee, and delights organized by its social committee.

The joyful celebration started with a speech by ITG Vice President; Mr. Ali Al Sadi who welcomed all employees- especially the new members- and sharing Eid greetings followed by a special speech by the President &CEO; Mr. Walid Tahabsem, wishing a happy Eid to all employees and also, emphasizing the resilient achievements the company has accomplished through its gifted employees.

In an atmosphere full of fun, ITG Marketing Manager, Ms. Rasha Abu Saif conducted a contest with all employees and confirmed: “This celebration reflects ITG treasured values and its usual atmosphere of Eid greetings! “.

PMP TRAINING IN ITG AMERICA

Based on Integrated Technology Group (ITG) vast and unique professional experience in the international business and markets; a training under the topic of: “Project Management Professionals (PMP)” is being conducted for two days in a row, taking place at ITG AMERICA LLC offices at San Jose, California by one of ITG’s specialized trainers.

Military Technological College (MTC) team from Sultanate Oman are attending ITG PMP training; that will build real capacity within the trainees and will empower them with knowledge and expertise needed to manage and run their projects.

ITG PARTICIPATION IN DISTRIBUTING CHARITY PACKAGES

Based on its social responsibility and the principle of social solidarity, Integrated Technology Group (ITG) participated in distributing charity packages in cooperation with the Ministry of Information & Communications Technology (MoICT), The Public Security Directorate, and Government Officials.

The packages were distributed in many areas in Jordan, including Ain al-Basha, Mahes, Al-Salt, The North Shouna and Madaba, in coordination with the Charities operating in these areas.

The holy month of Ramadan is an opportunity for (ITG) to continue its social responsibility through a series of philanthropic and humanitarian activities, through which it affirms its presence with all the segments of society. This year, the charitable activities in Ramadan included charitable packages distribution and the participation in organizing mass Iftars for orphans and the less fortunate.

(ITG) Marketing Manager Rasha Abu Saif, emphasized the importance of community-based charitable activities that are always present on ITG’s agenda, stating: “We are proud to cooperate with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and under the supervision of the Public Security Directorate to carry out these charitable activities which reflects positively on the local community, and (ITG) will continue to collaborate with all the organizations that support social responsibility.”

ITG SIGNS AN AGREEMENT WITH MOICT TO IMPLEMENT A DATA INTEGRATION PROJECT

Integrated Technology Group (ITG) and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MoICT) signed an agreement for commencing implementation of data integration between Companies Control Department (CCD) – Business Enabling Portal, Amman Chamber of Industry (ACI), and Amman Chamber of Commerce (ACC).

The project goes in line with the ministry’s vision to develop the investment sector and facilitate the services provided to the investors, whereby the integration will be achieved through the amendment of the membership system and the previously implemented system in both chambers by ITG; WaveERP®.

WaveERP® is a comprehensive system for enterprise resource planning that facilitates the processes and information flow throughout the enterprise, in addition to achieving outcomes at a faster pace with more accuracy. Moreover, it helps in making effective and profitable strategic decisions, which feeds into increasing the efficiency and productivity, in addition to saving time as well as money.

The Business Enabling Portal aims to enable investors to register limited liability companies LLC at the Companies Control Department (CCD) by replacing the multi-registration process currently implemented in the entities involved in the registration process (Companies Control Department (CCD), Amman Chamber of Industry (ACI), Amman Chamber of Commerce (ACC), Income and Sales Tax Department (ISTD), and Social Security Corporation (SSC)) through one standard form and registration process requiring only access to the portal and internet connection.

ITG AND KPMG JORDAN SIGN MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING

KPMG Jordan – a branch of KPMG’s global network of professional firms specialized in audit, tax and advisory services – signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Integrated Technology Group (ITG) – a global, leading company in the Information Technology sector, marked by its high quality and scalable e-learning, governmental and ERP solutions. The MoU lays ground for mutual agreement regarding work relationships, simultaneously targeting cooperation towards discovering, opening and developing new markets.

The agreement positions the base for mutual agreement between the two parties concerning their work relationship, at the same time strengthening their joint efforts and common interest in developing ITG’s product-related projects and activities.

The memorandum was signed by KPMG Jordan’s Managing Partner, Mr. Hatem Kawasmy, and the President & CEO of ITG, Mr. Walid Tahabsem. Mohammad Abudalo – KPMG Jordan Head of Advisory, Osama Abaza – ITG Business Development Director, and Islam Qasrawi – ITG Regional Sales Manager, accompanied the two.
