Amman, Jordan — Integrated Technology Group (ITG) recently welcomed two high school students as part of Bank al Etihad's RISE Future Leaders Program, an initiative designed to provide students with meaningful workplace exposure and help them develop practical skills through real-world learning experiences.
Organized by Bank al Etihad, the RISE Future Leaders Program introduces Grade 10 and 11 students from leading schools across Jordan to professional work environments, enabling them to explore different career paths while building essential workplace competencies. As one of the program's partner organizations, ITG hosted Mohammed and Kareem, who joined the company for a two-day internship experience.
During their time at ITG, Mohammed and Kareem shadowed the Business Development Department, where they gained firsthand insight into business development processes, strategic partnerships, and customer engagement. Their experience also included meetings with leaders from multiple departments across the company, providing them with a broader understanding of how different teams collaborate to deliver comprehensive technology solutions to organizations across the region.
The internship offered the students an opportunity to observe professional workflows, ask questions, and engage with experienced professionals, helping bridge the gap between academic learning and the realities of the modern workplace.
Reflecting on the experience, Suhail Darwazeh, Senior PR & Communications Officer at ITG, said:
"Seeing high school students ask the right questions and engage with genuine curiosity is always rewarding. At ITG, we believe talent flourishes when it is given the right environment, guidance, and opportunities to grow. Programs like RISE Future Leaders play an important role in bridging education and industry, helping young people gain the confidence, perspective, and practical experience that will shape the leaders of tomorrow."
By participating in RISE Future Leaders Program, ITG continues to support initiatives that strengthen the connection between education and industry. Providing students with early exposure to professional environments helps them make informed decisions about their future careers while fostering the skills, confidence, and curiosity needed to succeed in an evolving digital economy.
ITG values collaborations that empower young people through practical learning experiences and remains committed to contributing to the development of future talent by sharing knowledge, encouraging innovation, and supporting the next generation of professionals.
