Leading Jordanian IT Company Integrated Technology Group (ITG) announced it has successfully deployed phase one of its Government Resource Planning Solution, WaveGRP™ at the Jordanian Ministry of Tourism & Antiquities.

“Tourism is becoming one of the most important industries in the world today, with ever changing needs and requirements.” Her Excellency Dr. Alia Boran Minister of Tourism and Antiquities stated. “Based on our national tourism strategy, and due to the utmost importance of institutional development as a whole, it became a necessity to review and develop our operational procedures in order to achieve our objectives, and increase our Ministry's performance in particular and the tourism sector in general. Accordingly, the decision was made to deploy a comprehensive GRP solution that would enable us to operate more seamlessly, increase performance and facilitate procedures, in order to meet the global challenges facing this vital sector.”

Through WaveGRP™, MoTA will have a comprehensive resource planning solution that empowers its workforce to seamlessly perform electronic transactions at multiple levels. This will result in increasing the efficiency of operations and services, and reduces related costs. The solution allows managers and employees to access and manage information, and conduct transactions and operational processes in an integrated paperless environment, yielding results more quickly and accurately than traditional administrative and operational techniques.

“We are proud to work with MoTA on this project. Our firm considers its relationship with the Ministry as a partnership, where ITG will provide business and technology expertise, and an advanced solution that will take MoTA into the new era of progressive operations.” Commented Walid Tahabsem, Chief Executive Officer of ITG.

WaveGRP™ goes beyond other conventional ERP solutions. It is considered to be the backbone for government entities in their efforts towards true e-Government. The solution contributes towards achieving government objectives by providing added value, through seamless integration of technology into government operations. Moreover, WaveGRP™ integrates all office operations through a single solution, and aggregates data and information for more accurate analysis and extensive audits and reports. It simplifies all system operations with access through an easy-to-use interface in a highly secured environment.

“MoTA has always been a pioneer in applying advanced technological applications in its operations. We believe this is a significant project, and that this comprehensive solution will help us in achieving our objectives as a Jordanian government entity progressing towards e-Government.” Said MoTA Secretary General, Farouq Hadidi.

ITG won this business opportunity due to extensive years of experience in implementing focused ERP solutions, which has put the firm ahead of competition. ITG’s success has also been a result of the company’s unique vision, and provision of latest technologies and optimal solutions that contribute to the empowerment of institutions and societies.
