The Minister of Education, Dr. Ibrahim Badran assured that the education in Jordan is sponsored by His Majesty King Abdullah II Bin Al Hussein. His Majesty always put education as a first priority of the government achievements, declaring his awareness that education is the future.
Badran mentioned the deep relationship between the ministry and the private sector, represented today by its cooperation with Integrated Technology Group (ITG). Badran expressed his confidence in ITG that it will maximize the use of educational technology.
In turn, ITG Chairman Mr. Walid Tahabsem said that “it’s our responsibility as a primary objective to enhance the educational process in Jordan, which requires us to keep up the good work in order to keep the Jordanian educational experiment, be respected and proud of internationally.” Under this contract, ITG coordinate with the ministry to provide them the maintenance and technical support for EduWave® system in the Information Center of the Ministry.
EduWave® solution is a multilingual system for schools and higher education sectors, which is specialized in learning management system, content management system and students’ information system. EduWave® has been developed according to global standards that are characterized by flexibility and ease of use to allow institutions and competent educational authorities apply their educational needs, each according to its specificity.
The ceremony was attended by the Director of Information and Communication Technology Mr. Mazen Amarin and the Director of Queen Rania Center for Educational Technology, Dr. Mohamed Al-Majali.
