EDUWAVE® LMS COMPONENTS

EduWave® LMS provides the ability to link courses, assessment questions, images, multimedia, and more to specific learning standards. This, along with the SmartTeacher™ feature, individualized learning plans, adaptive assessments, BookZero™ tools, and more, empowers educators to offer individualized instruction while still aligning with the specific standards of their educational body.

EduWave® LMS features include:

BookZero™

BookZero™ allows for content authoring, editing and publishing. This feature allows instructors to create content and share it with students in an interactive manner.

COURSE EVALUATION

Course evaluation, primarily in the form of surveys, allows students to reflect on their academic year, the courses they have taken and the instructors who taught them. This also helps universities, schools, and other academic institutions keep track of how students are responding to various instructors and courses.

SMARTTEACHER™

SmartTeacher™ is an adaptive tool that uses a 'self-educated' approach that provides recommendations for each student to optimize the learning process based on previous assessments.

ONLINE ASSESSMENT

Instructors can create assessments and classify them into different sections, categories and years. Students can access those assessments and complete them using the Assessment Management System (AMS) feature.

CONTENT MANAGEMENT

The Content Management System (CMS) includes an intuitive text editor that allows for the creating, editing, and sharing of content between instructors and students.

COURSE MANAGEMENT

Managing courses is a vital part of a student’s education. As such, EduWave® uses a user-friendly system to assist instructors in managing various courses while allowing students to join and drop any elective courses they might have.

LEARNING STANDARDS MANAGEMENT

This broad feature allows instructors to determine and announce learning objectives which are later used to create lesson plans and individual learning paths.

MULTIMEDIA LIBRARY

Multimedia Library allows instructors to share various multimedia content, relating to particular educational topics with students, be it videos or otherwise.

TEACHING PATH

Derived from the Lesson Plan, instructors can create individual learning paths for students. This feature helps students and instructors monitor the overall progress of students.

LEARNING MATERIAL MANAGEMENT

This feature acts as an extension to BookZero™, providing a material/content repository for students.

ASSIGNMENTS

This feature simplifies the process of assigning tasks or assignments to students. Instructors can now create assignments and assign them to specific students, sections, or classes. Students can then complete those assignments and submit them online.

LESSON PLAN

Instructors can create lesson plans based on learning outcomes to later feed into individual learning paths.

ADDITIONAL FEATURES

CONTENT INTEGRATION

Language learning courses from Rosetta Stone are an example of the partnerships that EduWave® has created to provide the highest level of education to students.

PLAGIARISM DETECTION TOOLS

EduWave®’s GradeBook™ is integrated with Copyscape, a plagiarism detection tool, for instructors to monitor any unethical behaviors made by students during a given assessment.
Note that it requires integration with 3rd party service to work.

SOCIAL MEDIA ENGAGEMENT

Interactive learning is the backbone of EduWave® LMS. Students can now enrich their learning through social networks (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+), participate, and collaborate to seek, share, and create knowledge for self-realization.

EVALUATION TOOLS (INSTRUCTOR COMMENTS, BADGES)

It’s easy for instructors to leave feedback for students about assignments, assessments, and other important tasks while using EduWave®. These comments remain on the student profile so that they can be referenced at any time.
Students can earn badges from instructors as incentives, receive recommendations, and endorsements, which can be displayed in their portfolios. It’s also a way where students can get recognized for their success.
