INTEGRATED TECHNOLOGY GROUP (ITG) PARTICIPATION IN (YAHSAT) “ENABLING THROUGH CONNECTIVITY” FORUM

In collaboration with the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the UAE Embassy in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Integrated Technology Group (ITG) participated in “Enabling Through Connectivity Forum” organized by Al Yah Satellite Communications in the Four Season Hotel, Amman with the presence of representatives from the public and private sectors in Jordan.

The UAE Ambassador in Jordan, Mr. Matar Saif Al Shamsi welcomed the attendees and the participants in the forum through his opening speech. Later, Yahsat Executive Vice President of Strategic Business Development, Mrs. Najah Abdul Rahman expressed the importance of quick and effective communication between governments and private institutions to ensure the successful implementation of economic and social development projects.

In addition, Integrated Technology Group (ITG) President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Walid Tahabsem, spoke about the enhancement of ITG’s vision of empowering people through technology, saying:  “Education is the foundation where we achieve a brighter future and that is why we provide the comprehensive e-Learning & education platform EduWave®, which aims to improve the quality of education in many developing countries and provide them with the opportunity to receive high quality education.”

Mr. Tahabsem also stressed on the importance of expanding solutions to enhance education and health care services not only in Jordan but also across the world believing in the positive impact generated in communities that are not yet covered by telecommunication services.

During the one-day forum, (Yahsat) led a discussion on how to improve and support emergency humanitarian response in times of crisis and strengthen enterprise growth in developing countries in collaborative efforts with the private sector. Moreover, Integrated Technology Group (ITG) presented its award winning innovative educational platform; EduWave® as a key to e-learning solutions in addition to presenting technological solutions for e-health and access to Internet community through satellite communication.

NATIONAL SECTOR SKILLS TEAMS (NSST) CONFERENCE

Under the patronage of the Ministry of Labor and in cooperation with the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), Mr. Walid Tahabsem, President and CEO of Integrated Technology Group (ITG), participated in the first conference for National Sector Skills Teams (NSST) “Towards Labor Market-oriented Skills” on Tuesday at the W Hotel Amman within the project of education, vocational training, and higher education directed to the labor market.

Mr. Tahabsem invitation to participate in the conference is based on his distinguished position among the Jordanian entrepreneurs who left a successful mark in more than one sector in the field of business entrepreneurship. The aim of the conference is to introduce the efforts of the government to improve and restructure education and vocational training, as well as the private sector’s perception of educational and vocational outputs and their compatibility with the requirements of the labor market and the role of the sector in improving this process.

ITG: THE GOLD SPONSOR FOR THE ACCREDITATION INTERNATIONAL ANNUAL CONFERENCE (AI)

Integrated Technology Group (ITG) participated in the Annual Accreditation International Conference which was held in Jordan International School (JIS) on 12-13 May, 2018, the conference was attended by a huge presence of teachers, school administrators, and officials from the private educational sector from Amman and Irbid as well as Amnesty International officials, representatives from the Ministry of Education and other sponsors for the event.

The opening ceremony of the conference was held by Mr. Amin Shdeifat, Director of the Private Education Sector, Mrs. Fatima Qatouna, Head of the Foreign Programs Section in Private Education and Dr. Don D. Petry the Director of Accreditation International, under the title “Strategies to Improve Learning and Education”. The purpose of the conference was to discover the best practices in international education and accreditation, and workshops for teachers professional development.

The aim of the conference is to identify the latest strategies for the development of education, as well as identifying the latest teaching methods in accreditation and utilize them, and from the belief in the importance of education, technology, and the urgent need to learn more, ITG proudly delivered numerous live demos of its educational system EduWave® and a presentation of all the services the system provides to deliver technological solutions for learning objectives and learning outcomes.

ASU+GSV CONFERENCE

ITG America Managing Director, Mr. Adam Berns, participated in The ASU+GSV Summit in San Diego, California on April 16, 2018.

The ASU+GSV Summit included over 4,000 leaders from across the learning and talent spectrum and includes leaders from the enterprise, investment, higher education, and Pre  K-12 communities.

the annual ASU+GSV Summit is the industry catalyst for elevating dialogue and driving action around raising learning and career outcomes through scaled innovation.

ITG PARTICIPATION IN CAREER FAIRS

ITG participated in several career fairs during the month of April held in the Applied Science University, Princess Sumaya University and German Jordanian University.

Many graduates and undergraduates come and participated in the fairs. ITG recruitment team received many job applications which will be sorted, and then choose the appropriate candidates to fill available vacancies or retain them for future vacancies.

Potential candidates connected with the ITG recruitment team to familiarize participants with the available positions and also, to guide them in writing CV professionally with tips and advices on mentioning important points that should be followed in the interview.

Patterns of Innovation Conference

Mr. Adam Berns the Managing Director of ITG America, participated in “The Patterns of Innovation Conference” in Napa Valley, California on March 27, 2018.

This conference was organized by the nonprofit organization “P21” which teamed with “The Pearson Foundation” to capture and share exemplary 21st century learning practices that are improving schools, student learning and opportunities in classrooms and communities across the United States.

The conference provided the chance to Meet with educational companies from the United States and from the international community.

UCET Conference

Mr. Chris Moggia and Mr. Adam Berns the Managing Director of ITG America, participated in the “UCET conference” in Utah, Salt Lake City, on March 22, 2018 with our consultants the “Silver Park Group”.

The conference was mostly attended by teachers and technology professionals from the K-12 community in Utah, and on the last day of the conference Mr. Chris Moggia along with Mr. Randy Favero (Silver Park Group) partook in a panel discussion that Mr. Favero hosted, the participants on the panel included the head of data networks for Utah, the top data interoperability in the state of Utah, and a representative from the state office responsible for overseeing the state run SIS Aspire.

“UCET” is the Utah Coalition for Educational Technology, and they promote the cooperative development and effective use of information technology in education, as well as providing and bringing together any and all parties interested in the use of technology in education for the purpose of representing their varied interests to each other and to the public.
